Komorebi is a Japanese word that describes the visual effect of sunlight filtering through the leaves of trees creating a dappled pattern of light on the ground. Komorebi can evoke a sense of peace and connection with nature. Gerald is developing work based around the ancient trees of Richmond Park.

The first solo show for Gerald in the town he grew up in. Providing a starting point for influences and the effects of the environment on his work. 

Solo Show - Wild Edges is Gerald's response to places where sky and land meet, where the forces of nature are elemental and blurred. This exhibition will run alongside Gerald's late father's work Remembered Places.

Solo Show - Gerald’s interpretation of the Bedruthan Steps on the North Cornwall coast. A series of semi abstract paintings using small scale formats to counterpoint the huge size of the rock formations
